Besides serving as the President of the Hanx, Lee was a guitarist and songwriter and a member of the bands Millennium and Saggitarius. He co-wrote the Association's songs, "Better Times" and "Just About The Same". Lee Mallory graced the lives of many. His music spans many decades and his personality touched countless people around him. On March 21st 2005, at the age of 60 years old, Lee Mallory left the earth mission complete. He finished up his latest cd. He found friendship and love. And was honored by San Francisco and his local community. Lee Mallory the person and the spirit has left us, but what he left in San Francisco are memories, music, and the heart of a man. Fly on Lee Mallory ...but we will miss you.

For all of us who loved him and his music, I want to assure you he received gentle transport from SF Fire Department and kind care at UCSF Emergency Department monday morning. He passed with grace and dignity, which he wanted very much to do, and he was in my loving hands every step of the way, which I wanted very much to do. He reached his artistic goal of completing his new album with Alex James Muscat at Last Stop Records. This pleased him very much.
