Because, You Know, the Cherokee Language Is Coming Back

In the book, practically every line is negative about tribal revitalization. The only positive line was my mother's unattibuted statement, "Because, you know, the Cherokee language is coming back." Since the book's publication both the Eastern Band and Cherokee Nation have founded Cherokee language immersion schools guaranteeing that the language will be passed on to next generation.
